What's on the Menu?
The Coffee Shop specializes in two things: American pastries taken to a new level and coffee drinks far beyond what you find at the big chains. Jeanne is an exceptional baker and will be serving you a broad selection of her Iowa flake crust pies plus pastries that taste even better than they look. Daughters Jessica and Jenna are experienced barristas and are excited to bring you a level of service and exquisite drinks not found elsewhere.
Reignite that uniquely "American Experience" once only romanticized in old movies and maybe a forgotten space in your heart. Let your troubles disappear with a coconut cupcake. Take a walk around the farm and reward yourself with a slice of banana cream pie topped with fresh warm caramel drizzle. With 3 generations of bakers and a combined coffee career of 10 years, come see the girls any time. We will be here, open late, just like when we were kids.
The Scene
Even though the pastries are all American, don't expect some lacy tea house atmosphere. No, The Coffee Shop is a place of style rather than nostalgia. The design is clean with respect for the materials of the original building, but done in a modern way. Just as the pastries and drinks are artful, so is the design of the interior and patio areas. Forget the cookie cutter look of the chains, this is a place with real atmosphere.
Men and women alike immediately take a liking to the place. It's a place to meet and chat anytime of the day or evening.

M - Th 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Fr & Sat 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Closed Sundays
All of the baked goods are made from scratch. They are all fabulous.
Neighbors find The Coffee Shop a great place to meet and talk over a latte. The large, communal table is quite popular.
Sisters Jenna (front) and Jessica man the espresso bar. Together, they have several years of barista experience.
They make a wide variety of top quality espresso drinks.
